Visual cues, anyone? [Part 2]
Going forward, every couple of months, I am going to take a dig down the lane of past memories and thoughts, and compile them for easy consumption and easier comprehension. Why? Because I am getting older. I am 35 now and that’s not a great place to be. 23 is a good place to be. 14 is an excellent spot too. 35 is when you’ve met enough people in the world to confuse one person with another without any provocation. It’s also the age at which you finally get Michael G. Scott’s reckless behaviour in The Office. He used to annoy the shit out of you. Now, he doesn’t. Deep down, you cherish him for being the pathetic self that he is for seven straight seasons.
Anyway, moving on from the first installment in June, let me take you through some of my recent pictorial content. They are, as is my signature style, random and consuming.
Shall we start at the beginning?

This old-timer has apparently spent his entire life on the Thannirbhavi beach. Used to be very friendly but thanks to partial blindness (he might be blind but he has seen a lot for sure), prefers his solitude.
First sunset from our window after moving to Mangalore. May you reflect on yourself the way the sun is reflecting on the sea right now.
Sorry. I pull no punches with friends, especially those I’ve lost touch with.
I live for such disappointing conversations.

This meme from 2013 Twitter has aged pretty well.
They had to tie this tree back in our neighborhood. Or else, it'd have gone on a world tour.
You know the greatest thing about Jonty Rhodes? There are no stats to prove his greatness. We know how many runs Sachin scored or how many wickets Akram took but we don't know how many runs Jonty saved by flying here and there. [Pic credit: ESPNCricInfo]
This weather is a lot like me. It promises much more than it can deliver.
Being a chef, I keep pushing boundaries. Cooked an ice cream today. Please don’t ask for recipes.
One of the many benefits of growing old with an old dog is there are very few expectations that separate you two. Also, he knows he is the best looking dog in town but kabhi ghuroor nahi kiya.
Why is Thakur hanging upside down?
Others: "2022 will be yours!"

In an ideal world, this shouldn't be news but then, we don't live in an ideal world.
