What farewell actually means

Decades or maybe centuries later, when we are all gone, we might turn into fragrant flowers, quietly making the world a better place. [Photo by Lino on Unsplash]

No matter what happens, document everything beautiful (be it in writing or otherwise) that happens in your life. Why? Because your loved ones are going to leave you sooner or later, and you can’t solely rely on your memory. That's just how it is. Today, it's our pet dog, tomorrow it will be our pet cat, and the day after tomorrow, it will be a dear human, and so on and so forth. This sad parade will continue until the end of time. When you die, your time ultimately ends. Until that point, however, you will repeatedly come face-to-face with the ultimate truth of life: death. 

To use a softer word, I am referring to farewells here. That wordless glitch from what we consider normal. I used to joke that the best farewell party is the one where you don’t show up as it’s the best way to get them used to your absence.  

But then, there is no escape from death. The OG of farewells.
