If you are a regular reader of my blog posts (which I highly doubt), you’d notice that I generally backlink the images used from my Instagram account. The one you can see above doesn’t feature on my IG feed for a simple reason: I haven’t posted it there yet. Clicked using Karthik’s camera, I somehow got lucky with the framing. A few evenings ago, we were on the terrace and spotted several birds in our backyard. [We spotted a pair of large white owls last night but they are not the protagonists of this story.] Two parakeets and two drongos were hanging out—literally and figuratively — at a distance on a tree. For some reason, one of each pair flew away leaving these two to my lens. I wonder whether avian creatures of different species can communicate with each other or not. Anyway, I zoomed in, focused on the gorgeous green and pushed the button only to realize that I am a hopeless photographer who should stick to quirky one-word captions.
